HyperOS 2 brings with it a host of new features. While this new version focuses on system optimization, achieving lower resource usage and more stable and fluid operation, we also find other new features such as the new dynamic lock screens.
With the arrival of HyperOS, Xiaomi introduced a new lock screen concept, allowing us to set different elements with a depth effect depending on the background image we set. Now, HyperOS 2 repeats the concept, adding as a major difference the possibility of not only adding a background image but also a video and thus obtaining a truly striking lock screen that you will undoubtedly want to have on your Xiaomi, REDMI, or POCO.

As we can see in the following videos, HyperOS 2 brings with it new animations for the lock screen. Now we can not only set a background image and, thanks to the power of AI, incorporate the different elements of the lock screen with depth, but also a video. The artificial intelligence will be in charge of detecting the different planes of the video, incorporating the clock, icons, and text that we want in a 3D effect.
Thanks to this new HyperOS 2 feature, we can achieve a screen as creative as the one we can see in the following video. A Buzz Lightyear background video has been incorporated into this video, resulting in a very striking effect thanks to the artificial intelligence incorporated in this new version of HyperOS.
Of course, for the moment this new functionality will only be available for certain smartphones, especially those with higher performance, such as the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. We will have to see if Xiaomi finally implements this interesting feature in other models.
