Nokia’s launch of the Snake game on its phones many years ago marked a significant advancement in the mobile industry. Perhaps to prove this argument, Nothing published a new widget today.
This widget showcases the Snake game. The widget contains an authentic reproduction of the game, rather than the original. You may control the snake with swipe motions, and it grows longer and faster as you advance. You can pause the game with a double tap, and the widget will show your high score when idle.
Rahul Janardhanan proposed the notion in January, and Thomas Legendre, another member of Nothing’s community, made it a reality. Nothing’s software team worked with them to make this possible.
To get the widget, you need to download the new Nothing Community Widgets app from the Play Store. The name of the app implies there will be more of these widgets coming in the future, and that’s exactly right. Nothing wants to use the app to curate “a selection of quality community-created widgets” and bundle them together into this app.
