Xiaomi 13T Pro gets Stable HyperOS 2.0 update

Xiaomi has begun handing out the much anticipated HyperOS 2.0-based Android 15 update for the Xiaomi 13T Pro. The update arrives just a few hours after reaching the Xiaomi 14T Pro, 14 Ultra, and Pad 6s Pro. This release excludes the AI functionality while including other essential elements seen in the HyperOS 2.0 skin.

The update is available to select users in the European region; a broader rollout should commence in a matter of time. Xiaomi is pushing the new software upgrade to the 13T Pro with OS2.0.9.0.VMLEUXM build number.

Last year, the phone picked up its first major OS upgrade – HyperOS based on Android 14. Now it is time for a second major system upgrade. Just like the first update, it weighs a whopping 6.3 GB of download size. Please ensure you have enough data to download it.

Moving to features, HyperOS 2.0 brings new customization features, user interface changes, performance enhancements, Circle to Search, and more. Apart from that the update includes AI-driven features such as dynamic wallpapers, AI search, Quick fill, Super Xiao AI, AI painting, voice recognition, translation, and more.

As we mentioned previously, these new AI features are not a part of this particular release and should be released in the coming updates.

If you own a Xiaomi 13T Pro residing in Europe, you may have already received the update, but in case you haven’t received or missed the OTA notification, you can navigate to Settings > tap on MIUI banner > Check for Updates > Update Device.

Before upgrading your device, make sure to back up important data and charge it to at least 50%. If you’re in a hurry, you can sideload the recovery ROM on your device.
