Xiaomi never stops surprising us with new features for its applications. Although the HyperOS 2 Gallery app is already very complete, in the last few hours it has received a new update that not only improves its performance but also adds a new tool based on AI.
Remember that from the Gallery application we can not only incorporate filters, adjust different color parameters, or crop our photographs, but also remove elements and objects. In addition, we can also modify the sky of any image and now remove reflections in an extremely simple way, thanks to artificial intelligence.
Xiaomi adds a new AI-based tool to its Gallery app.
As we can see in the following images, Xiaomi has updated the Gallery application to version V1.8.10.11.2. This brings with it a new tool based on artificial intelligence, which Xiaomi has named “Reflection Removal.”.
With just one click and in just a few seconds, this new tool allows us to remove any type of reflection, especially those produced by the sun’s rays at sunset. In addition, reflection removal also allows us to erase other reflections and anomalies, such as reflections from windows and glass when taking a photo from behind them.
At the moment, this new feature is only available for the Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Pro, Xiaomi 14, and Xiaomi 14 Pro, although everything indicates that it will soon reach more models, especially those that have a latest-generation Qualcomm processor.
