Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Air Purifier 5 Pro in the Chinese market. This follows the release of the Mijia Air Purifier 5 earlier this year. The purifier is now available at an initial price of 2,499 yuan ($344). Let’s look at the essential specifications.

The Mijia Air Purifier 5 Pro features a dual-fan design that provides intense filtration, producing 13,333 liters of clean air each minute. It has a 3-minute air renewal capability, making it suitable for large spaces such as new residences, offices, businesses, and kindergartens.
It can deliver 1050 m³/h CADR for particles, efficiently covering regions of 56-96 m². The gadget is fitted with a six-layer composite filtering system that can remove bacteria, formaldehyde, dust, and allergens.
With a formaldehyde CADR of 720 m³/h, it outperforms Chinese national norms by 8 times. This ensures the rapid removal of hazardous gases such as formaldehyde and TVOC, making it perfect for recently refurbished spaces. The purifier is equipped with powerful antibacterial and deodorizing filters that remove 99.99% of the H1N1 flu virus, EV71 intestinal virus, and other airborne bacteria and viruses.
The air purifier is equipped with six innovative sensors that detect interior contaminants such as formaldehyde, pollen, and particle matter, allowing for real-time monitoring of air quality. It also includes UV-C sterilizing technology and an antimicrobial coating to maintain a clean environment, especially during flu season.
The Mijia Air Purifier 5 Pro offers smart connectivity via the Mijia App and the XiaoAI voice assistant, allowing users to control the device remotely, create automation scenarios, and easily adjust settings. It also supports HyperOS Connect and has a big LCD panel for plainly displaying air quality and device status.
It has a low noise operation, with a sleep mode emitting only 33 dB(A), making it ideal for bedrooms. Furthermore, its hidden caster wheels make it simple to transfer between rooms, and the exquisite design with a sealed top cover maintains internal cleanliness.
The device also includes an energy-efficient long-lasting filter that may last up to 12 months and costs just 1.23 yuan per day to maintain. It includes a snap-in filter compartment door for quick filter changing, which improves user convenience.
