 Xiaomi Mijia Smart Safe Box Launched with phone remote opening

In addition to the new REDMI Smart TV A75 2025, Xiaomi has just introduced its new Xiaomi Mijia Smart Safe Box. This is a safe with smart functions that stands out not only for its solid steel structure but also for having remote opening from our smartphone.

The new Xiaomi Mijia Smart Safe Box debuts with an overall size of 300 x 400 x 300 mm and a weight of 14 kg. high-density carbon steel structure has been used for its manufacture, combined with a solid Q235 steel gate and a 19mm diameter latch for greater strength and security.

In addition, we are faced with a safe packed with technology, starting with an alarm system in case of detecting abnormal activity or several forced attempts to open it. Likewise, it is capable of alerting us if we leave its door open.

In addition to being a high-security safe, the new Xiaomi Mijia Smart Safe Box stands out for its smart functions. It has WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as a high-security Mijia chip with an encryption algorithm developed by Xiaomi.

Likewise, the new Xiaomi Mijia Smart Safe Box allows you to unlock it in 6 different ways: by fingerprint, password, one-time password, two-factor authentication thanks to its front touch panel, by key, or remotely from our smartphone via Bluetooth or WiFi.

It uses four AA batteries to operate, giving it a battery life of up to 12 months. It also has an emergency USB Type C to power it if the battery runs out.

The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Safe Box is otherwise characterized by having an internal compartment of 396 x 295 x 248mm divided into two heights. It also comes with two physical opening keys and two special screws for anchoring it to the wall.

Price and availability

The new Xiaomi Mijia Smart Safe Box is now on sale in China for just 649 yuan, about 85 euros at the current exchange rate. Although it is currently unknown whether it will officially reach the global market, it is very likely that it will do so soon.
